How does it work?
Both methods emit energy through the skin to destroy the hair follicle. Laser uses light energy while electrolysis uses heat/current transmitted through a fine probe to the root.
Does it hurt?
Everyone has different sensitivities on different areas. Laser feels like a snapped rubber band on your skin. Electrolysis feels similar to tweezing.
How many treatments are required?
Multiple treatments are required--it varies with hair and skin types. Typically patients are pleased with the results in 4-6 treatments.
